Workshops

2010 ADOBE® PHOTOSHOP® ONE DAY TRAINING COURSES.

28 Jan 2010 - 25 Nov 2010

Adobe® Photoshop® Software Training.
for Landscape Photographers
Tutor, Mark Banks.

Bookings are now being taken for our full-on one day Photoshop Software Training Courses. Based around the workflow of Joe Cornish and other pro-photographers, Mark will progress you from efficient filing to using the essential Photoshop tools necessary to improve your images to gallery standards.
Each one-day course is limited to 6 people. Every participant will have use of a computer and will be encouraged to bring along a small selection of their own images to work on (although this isn't compulsory!).
A comprehensive manual is also supplied to accompany the course which attendees should find useful as a reference later.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This course has been designed for those with a keen interest in landscape photography and who wish to develop their post-production methods and Photoshop skills to a more advanced level. Its aim is to help photographers gain the necessary knowledge and understanding of workflow and Photoshop in order to adjust images to gallery standards (i.e. to a level others would be proud of hanging on their wall!).
The course will also be beneficial to those already using Photoshop Elements that are considering purchasing Photoshop, but wish to gain more understanding of its features first.

WHAT NOT TO EXPECT!
Almost all professional landscape photographers try to get the image right in-camera, a point Joe constantly makes on his workshops. However, due to the limitations of camera equipment (and for those that still use it, film) what you may see post-capture isn't necessarily how you remember the original scene with your own eyes. Therefore, for landscape professionals, Photoshop is merely a vehicle to adjust an image back to how they originally remember it. Therefore, this course is not for those that wish to replace one sky with another for example!
