ADOBE® PHOTOSHOP® ELEMENTS ONE DAY TRAINING COURSES.
7 Sep 2010 - 29 Sep 2011
Adobe® Photoshop® ELEMENTS Software Training.
for Landscape Photographers
Tutor, Mark Banks.
Bookings are now being taken for our one day Photoshop Elements Software Training Courses.
As its name implies, Photoshop Elements is a cut-down version of its powerful big brother. However, for the majority of amateur photographers (and even some pro's), Elements has just the right mix of tools and adjustments to make this the essential piece of software to have on their computer.
Based around the workflow of Joe Cornish and other pro-photographers, Mark demystifies this fabulous software so that high standards of image quality can be achieved ready for print.
Each one-day course is limited to 6 people. Every participant will have use of a computer and will be encouraged to bring along a small selection of their own images to work on (although this isn't compulsory!).
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This course has been designed for amateur digital and film photographers who are enthusiastic about landscape photography and wish to learn more about the workflow and techniques used by landscape professionals, in order to build upon and improve their own techniques and images.
The course would also be suitable for those who own a copy of full Photoshop but wish to become knowledgable on Photoshop's fundamental features before progressing to the more advanced techniques found on our Photoshop training course.
Plenty of advice and help is given throughout the day although attendees are expected to have a reasonable understanding of basic computing and keyboard skills.
A comprehensive manual is also supplied to accompany the course which attendees should find useful as a reference later.
WHAT NOT TO EXPECT!
Almost all professional landscape photographers try to get the image right in-camera, a point Joe constantly makes on his workshops. However, due to the limitations of camera equipment (and for those that still use it, film) what you may see post-capture isn't necessarily how you remember the original scene with your own eyes. Therefore, for landscape professionals, Elements is merely a vehicle to adjust an image back to how they originally remember it. Therefore, this course is not for those that wish to replace one sky with another for example!
